Dr. Micheal Wong
Dr. Michael C. Wong has been a health practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology in San Diego County for over 28 years. Over the years, Dr. Wong’s strong passion for his profession and indomitable commitment to his practice enable him to serve the best interest of his patients.
Graduation with highest honors, Dr. Wong obtained his BA with a double major in Chemistry and Microbiology in 1972 from Indiana University. He received his medical degree in 1976 from the University of Chicago, Prtzer School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors.
Dr. Wong successfully completed four years of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California San Diego where he also served as Clinical Instructor in it’s OB/GYN department. He became Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1981. He currently holds privileges at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.
Dr. Wong specializes in the evaluation and treatment of infertility, including ovulation induction and intrauterine inseminations. He also specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures, such as laparoscopic hysterectomy (removal of fibroids and ovarian tumors) and operative hysteroscopy (removal of fibroids and plyps, endometrial ablation for heavy menses, and tubal occlusion and Essure).
Dr. Wong is a member of the California Medical Association, San Diego County Medical Society, San Diego Gynecology Society, San Diego Endocrine-Fertility Society, American Fertility Society, The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, The International Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy, Southwest Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, OB/GYN Supervisory Committee, OB Operational Committee and Minimally Invasive Surgery Committee.
Dr. Niloufer Dennis
Dr.Niloufer Dennis attended Ross University School of Medicine and did her internship at Aurora Sinai Medical Center – OB/GYN.
Dr. Dennis did her residency and was Chief Resident at Danbury Hospital, an affiliate of Yale.
